To the delegates assembled at this United Nations session, and to our community navigating their own MVP Journeys: We have spent millennia demanding to see the manager of this planet. We look at the decision-makers seated in the halls of global governance, and we realize a profound, dangerous misalignment. The true thought leaders—the stewards of our ecosystems, the architects of multi-generational resilience, the visionaries who understand that the map is a lie—are not at the table.
They are on the menu.
For the past four centuries, human governance has been running on a catastrophic operating system. It relies on lines drawn across continents, the tokenization of living ecosystems, and the relentless pursuit of transactional liquidity. In our modern economic discourse, we have become dangerously comfortable measuring national prosperity through the myopic lens of corporate payouts and geopolitical acquisitions. We use toxic gatekeeping—relying on outdated, abusive metrics in our institutions and workplaces—to decide who belongs in the room and who is excluded.
The leaders seated at the current table are feasting on the future. But the cartography of the old world is collapsing, and it is time for a Grand Recall. It is time to retire the "circus of the mind" that keeps the real leaders sidelined and consumed.
So, who are these leaders currently being served up?
They are the ones who understand Quantum Whakapapa. Just as Einstein once mocked quantum entanglement as "spooky action at a distance," our current global institutions often dismiss the profound, undeniable interconnectedness of our species, our actions, and our planet. The leaders who truly grasp this entanglement are the ones out in the field. They are practicing indigenous land stewardship. They are navigating the intersections of identity, heritage, and modern statehood. They are the brilliant minds trapped under toxic workplace dynamics or locked out by institutional gatekeeping, whose immense potential cannot be measured by archaic metrics.
They hold the blueprints for our collective survival, yet their labour and their lands are perpetually commodified by those at the top.
To promote these thought leaders from the menu to the table requires more than just pulling up an extra chair. It requires dismantling the table itself.
It demands an end to the tokenization of the marginalized. It means moving "Beyond the Payout" to secure real, multi-generational wealth. True wealth is not measured in dollars exchanged on the global marketplace; it is measured in the vitality of our land, the integrity of our communities, and the courage to build systems that honour our deep interconnectedness.
To the decision-makers at the UNGA: You are sitting at the apex of a procurement and governance network that spans the globe. You hold the power to fund, platform, and legitimize. The challenge before you is not to figure out how to extract more from the people and ecosystems currently on your menu. Your challenge is to recognize that the people you are consuming are the only ones equipped to save you.
It is time to elevate the quantum thinkers, the multi-generational stewards, and the grassroots innovators. It is time to replace toxic gatekeeping with genuine, skills-based empowerment. Let us retire the catastrophic operating systems of the past.
