CALL TO ACTION: Demand for Official Apology, Personal Accountability, and Direct Redress for COVID-19 Mandate Discrimination

To all New Zealanders impacted by state-enforced mandate discrimination:

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic response, including myself, thousands of New Zealanders faced severe institutional pressure, loss of livelihood, social exclusion, and employment discrimination simply for exercising bodily autonomy. Under the directives of the Ardern administration and implemented through government agencies where I worked, including the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), dedicated citizens were targeted, coerced, and marginalized for choosing not to comply with vaccine mandates.

It is time, admittedly far beyond the time, to hold the architects of these policies accountable and secure justice for those who suffered, including the incarceration of the perpetrators of the time to help drain the swamp to reinstate the credibility of the State.

Core Demands

  • A Formal State Apology: The New Zealand Government must issue an official, unambiguous public apology to all individuals who suffered career disruption, financial hardship, social ostracization, or emotional distress due to government and public-sector vaccine mandates.

  • Personal Financial Accountability: Taxpayers must not bear the financial burden of compensating victims. Restitution must be funded directly from the personal assets and legal liabilities of the decision-makers, officials, and administration leadership responsible for enforcing these discriminatory policies.

  • Unified Support for Class Action Litigation: We call upon all affected workers, former employees of IRD, MSD, and broader public and private sectors to endorse and join a unified class-action lawsuit to pursue immediate financial compensation for lost income, legal costs, and damages.

Join the Movement for Justice

If you were targeted, forced out of your position, or discriminated against by government departments or institutional policies during this period, your voice is essential. We are building a collective register of affected individuals to strengthen pending legal action and force direct accountability.

Take Action Today:

  1. Endorse the Claim: Sign on to support the collective legal action demanding personal liability from the leadership of the time.

  2. Submit Your Record: Document the specific discrimination, loss of income, or disciplinary action you experienced while working for or interacting with agencies like IRD and MSD.

  3. Spread the Word: Connect with colleagues, family, and community members who were impacted to ensure maximum representation.

Dissatisfied with the halfhearted state-sponsored actions to date, we stand together to demand an official apology, full financial restitution paid by those responsible, and a guarantee that institutional discrimination of this nature never occurs in New Zealand again.
